Job description
Store Management
The General Manager at Domino's Pizza leads every aspect of store operations, including guiding the team, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring excellence in product quality. This role is pivotal to the store's overall success.
Opportunities
Those who serve as General Managers for at least one year qualify to apply for franchise ownership through Domino's Management Development Program, an exclusive opportunity that empowers managers to own a business. Career progressions within the company include Trainer and Regional Manager roles.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $1275 per pay period, complemented by bonuses and incentives linked to the store's profitability and performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Some management experience is advantageous.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with multitasking capability.
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking on various surfaces including ceramic tiles and linoleum, mostly for short distances and durations.
- Sitting for paperwork at desks or tables.
- Lifting and carrying items such as cases up to 50 pounds, cans around 3.5 pounds, trays of pizza dough (~12 pounds each), and pizza sauce (~30 pounds).
- Moving trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance and signage tasks.
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, and squatting activities.
Tools and Equipment
Utilization of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD devices, pizza cutters, and pizza peels is part of daily duties.
Additional Requirements
- Valid U.S. work authorization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with friendliness and teamwork.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and remain organized.
- Efficient time management and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to work weekends and a minimum of 5 closing nights per week, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (mandatory).
- Restaurant experience preferred.
- Skilled in motivating and developing staff, scheduling employees, managing inventory, and maintaining store image.
- Responsiveness to customer concerns and adherence to company policies.
- Prompt answering of store calls after the first ring is required.
- Commitment to maintaining exceptional product quality.
