CNC Operator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer cum Operator to join our team in Pattaravakkam, Ambattur, Chennai. Candidates should possess 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience and hold an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC Turning and CNC Lathe machinery.
• Applying strong expertise in G-code, M-code, tooling, and cutting parameters to ensure precision machining.
• Interpreting 2D technical drawings, including tolerances and machining specifications.
• Conducting tool setup, work offset adjustments, job preparation, and program prove-out efficiently.
• Manufacturing high-precision parts used in Jigs, Fixtures, and Automation equipment.
• Executing in-process inspections using precision instruments such as Verniers and Micrometers.
• Monitoring tool wear during operations and making corrective adjustments when necessary.
• Resolving basic machining and programming issues to prevent production delays.
• Ensuring consistency in accuracy, product quality, productivity targets, and maintaining 5S workplace standards.

Additional Information

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Tool Room, Jigs & Fixtures, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), or Automation operations. Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi will be considered an advantage.
