Cloud-Cabin Safety Operator

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud-Cabin Safety Operator who will remotely observe autonomous vehicle operations and provide immediate safety evaluations and interventions from a dedicated cloud-cabin workstation. This vital role ensures the secure functioning of autonomous vehicles and demands strong focus, sound judgement, and rapid responsiveness to potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor autonomous vehicle activities remotely using cloud-cabin and PC platforms.
• Carry out real-time safety evaluations during vehicle operation.
• Initiate timely and effective interventions as necessary.
• Detect operational risks and issue proper warnings or notifications.
• Observe activities related to hardware and software update testing.
• Support routine road testing and ongoing autonomous vehicle operations.
• Oversee special experience sessions and VIP service operations.
• Aid in operational procedures and cloud-cabin testing exercises.
• Escalate safety issues and operational deviations following established protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with vehicle operators, response teams, and other operational stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in control rooms, command centers, fleet monitoring, vehicle operations, transportation, or security operations is preferable.
• Excellent situational awareness and keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable extensively using PC-based monitoring tools.
• Ability to rapidly assess risks and make prompt decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for communication and issue escalation.
• Capability to sustain focus while supervising multiple operational activities.
• Interest in or experience with autonomous vehicles and emerging mobility technologies is a plus.
