Role Overview
The Cleaning Staff position is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing various locations in residential and commercial properties. Duties encompass maintaining cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures, safely handling cleaning materials and equipment, and following company policies and schedules. The role also requires reporting maintenance issues promptly, complying with health and safety standards, and contributing to the team's ability to satisfy client expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning for offices, retail outlets, and other business venues.
- Proficiency in residential cleaning including apartments, villas, and shared spaces.
- Safe and effective window cleaning skills with proper tools and techniques.
- Basic carpet maintenance knowledge, including vacuuming, spot treatment, and stain removal.
- A clear understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment with an emphasis on safety in handling and storage.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, work both independently and collaboratively, and manage time efficiently.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, move around, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks throughout work hours.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages such as Hindi, Arabic, or Tagalog are beneficial.
- Prior experience in professional cleaning or facility services is advantageous but not compulsory.
