Job Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide reminders for medication adherence.
- Offer toileting and incontinence assistance.
- Deliver meaningful companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare meals, undertake light housekeeping duties, and help with errands.
- Ensure client safety and well-being while communicating any changes to the care team.
- Provide specialized support to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.
- Develop trustworthy relationships with clients and their family members.
Qualifications
- Possess a genuine passion for in-home caregiving and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Previous experience in caregiving roles, assisted living, or Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) is advantageous but not essential.
- Credentials such as CNA, home health aide, or resident assistant experience are favorable yet not mandatory.
