Job Responsibilities

  • Assist seniors with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Provide reminders for medication adherence.
  • Offer toileting and incontinence assistance.
  • Deliver meaningful companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare meals, undertake light housekeeping duties, and help with errands.
  • Ensure client safety and well-being while communicating any changes to the care team.
  • Provide specialized support to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.
  • Develop trustworthy relationships with clients and their family members.

Qualifications

  • Possess a genuine passion for in-home caregiving and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Previous experience in caregiving roles, assisted living, or Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Credentials such as CNA, home health aide, or resident assistant experience are favorable yet not mandatory.
