Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operation of a single restaurant location ensuring smooth functioning, financial achievement, and delivering outstanding guest service. Your duties include recruiting, managing, and directing staff members to meet business goals. Successful completion of a store leadership training program lasting at least three weeks will prepare you to lead effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate within 50 miles of home location if necessary.
- Availability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational demands.
- Food safety certification such as Serve Safe is mandatory.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Working conditions include standing for extended periods, handling hot and cold food items, using kitchen equipment like Chinese cook knives safely, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The kitchen environment tends to be hot with ambient noise, limited storage, and requires quick yet accurate work performance. Effective verbal communication, adaptability, and conflict resolution skills are essential to succeed.
