Job description
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Integration Director to oversee a prominent transition and integration program from start to finish. This leadership role involves establishing the integration strategy, managing executive governance, ensuring the program stays on course, and serving as the principal liaison among internal workstreams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the integration approach, operating framework, and delivery roadmap including scope, scheduling, budgets, quality standards, readiness, and benefit realization.
- Lead governance processes and decision-making through steering committees, issue escalation, trade-off evaluations, and recovery planning.
- Maintain rigorous control over the master integration plan, managing dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and decisions (RAID), plus preparing and executing the cutover strategy and readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to monitor benefits and value, proactively addressing risks to realizing forecasted outcomes.
- Forge alignment among senior stakeholders inside and outside the organization and rapidly resolve cross-organizational challenges.
- Enforce robust risk management and assurance processes related to privacy, data security, and compliance, producing audit-ready documentation.
- Provide leadership to the PMO function, supported by the PMO Lead, to serve as the consolidated source for reporting and governance oversight.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in managing complex integration or transition initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, or significant transformations.
- Expertise in executive-level governance, delivering clear analysis, options, recommendations, and managing escalations decisively.
- Able to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, matrixed environments while maintaining discipline.
- Experienced in vendor management and commercial escalation protocols.
- Knowledgeable in compliance, risk management, data privacy, and assurance frameworks.
- Strong written and oral communication capabilities.
