Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join the team at Wolters Kluwer. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth by closing sales accounts and managing key clients. Collaboration across departments will be essential as you identify and convert qualified leads, focusing particularly on the CCH iKnowConnect platform—a cutting-edge AI-powered research tool that supports tax and legal professionals in providing reliable information swiftly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with major or strategic clients to ensure long-term collaboration
  • Address and resolve customer account issues while capturing customer feedback and suggestions
  • Contribute insights toward product improvements, including upgrades and enhancements
  • Coordinate with sales, order processing, and customer success teams to develop effective solutions
  • Analyze marketing trends, competitor offerings, and pricing to inform strategic management decisions
  • Attend conferences, events, and client meetings as necessary, including travel requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in sales or a similar capacity
  • Sound knowledge of business operations, financial elements, product portfolios, and market dynamics with a reputation for expert industry insight
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication, coupled with compelling presentation capabilities
  • Capability to independently plan account strategies and efficiently allocate resources
  • Client engagement skills to understand and respond to customer needs effectively
  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies and techniques
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market information critically
  • Basic negotiation skills for client discussions
  • Organizational skills for managing sales projects and campaigns
