Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor is located in Singapore. Responsibilities encompass preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing quantity take-offs, and aiding in tender preparation and evaluation. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee project costs by preparing cost plans and budgets, updating cost reports during the project lifecycle, and supporting cost control measures. The role involves assessing variations and claims and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and external parties to manage financial and contractual aspects accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in cost management including cost planning, reporting, and control.
• Experience preparing BOQs, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting tender documentation.
• Educational background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or relevant disciplines (Diploma or Degree).
• Knowledge of standard construction contracts and familiarity with Singapore's building codes and regulations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or cost estimation software.
