Python Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Python Developer to remotely join our team and take ownership of backend services and data pipelines. This position involves working on live product systems, emphasizing clean coding standards, sound architectural decisions, and ensuring ongoing reliability of delivered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, including APIs and data processing pipelines.
• Produce clean, well-tested code adhering to current Python best practices.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Enhance the performance and optimize resource consumption across backend services.
• Collaborate effectively with teams in product, data, and infrastructure domains.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to comprehensive engineering documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience developing production-level Python applications.
• Proficient with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP alongside container technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with version control using Git, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and testing frameworks like pytest.
• Practical mindset to balance development speed with code quality.
