Position Overview
We are currently looking to welcome an AI Media Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team at our office on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, with candidates required to reside locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and enhance machine learning models focused on computer vision and generative AI technologies such as diffusion models, segmentation, and image processing.
- Integrate ML models into current production workflows ensuring reliable and scalable daily operations.
- Drive automation efforts in image editing processes by applying innovative approaches to minimize manual effort.
- Evaluate model performance regularly, detect weaknesses, and continuously improve model robustness and quality.
- Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and operations teams to implement ML solutions effectively.
- Stay abreast of new AI technologies and methodologies and proactively apply them to our workflows.
Qualifications
- Several years of practical experience in machine learning and computer vision.
- Strong analytical thinking, pragmatic methods, and a hands-on attitude.
- Proficient in Python programming, including frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience working with generative models like Diffusion Models or GANs.
- Understanding of production-grade ML systems covering deployment, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with deployment tools and production workflows such as Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with creative AI tools and workflows, for example ComfyUI or Photoshop.
- Knowledge or practical experience in product photography and e-commerce is advantageous.
- Good command of both German and English languages.
