Role Overview

We are expanding our Financial Services division and seek a Life & Pensions Manager to join our Galway office. This role involves advising a varied SME client portfolio throughout Galway and beyond, contributing to the growth and strategic development of Xeinadin's Financial Services offerings throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional advice on life assurance, retirement planning, and pension products to a regional client base.
  • Maintain compliance with Irish regulations such as the Central Bank of Ireland's Consumer Protection Code.
  • Manage client portfolios through regular reviews, renewals, and retention planning.
  • Formulate and execute regional strategies to expand the Life & Pensions business.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with insurers, pension administrators, and product providers.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and product innovations to guide clients effectively.
  • Address complex client situations and escalations while ensuring compliance standards are met.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) certification.
  • Commercially astute with a clear understanding of client needs and industry standards.
  • Proven client-facing experience and familiarity with pension schemes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relations with clients and colleagues alike.

Employment Details

This is a permanent, office-based role located in Galway, Ireland.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Employer pension contributions starting at 3%, increasing to 3.5% from January 2024, alongside a 5% employee contribution.
