Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project contract documents thoroughly.
- Prepare and analyze enquiries from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Create and distribute contract documentation to the supply chain efficiently.
- Track changes in project scope and evaluate pricing for variations.
- Prepare and agree on monthly progress payment applications.
- Manage subcontractor accounts with focus on financial and contractual control.
- Issue relevant contractual notices and assess claims related to loss, expense, or acceleration.
- Deliver timely, precise, competitive, and profitable project estimates.
- Compile monthly commercial project reports reflecting project status.
- Support management by providing data, risk assessments, and issue analysis.
- Forecast and manage project cash flows proactively.
- Coordinate with clients, main contractors, and internal departments effectively.
- Perform all other tasks related to the Quantity Surveyor role as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree-level academic qualification or equivalent relevant experience in the industry.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or engineering role with strong commercial insight.
- Willingness to travel across EU sites periodically.
- Comprehensive understanding of subcontract agreements.
- Preferred candidates with background in CSA (Control and Systems Automation) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) disciplines.
- Professional negotiation skills with clients and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
