Job description
Role Overview
We are looking to employ an IT Support Specialist dedicated to second-tier technical assistance and system administration duties. This role requires a blend of practical problem-solving skills and the discipline necessary to maintain company systems reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalated support tickets unresolved by the primary help desk team.
- Administer major SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Okta.
- Manage the device fleet including provisioning, mobile device management (MDM), and lifecycle oversight.
- Implement and maintain identity access management and fundamental security controls.
- Document IT procedures and optimize operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams to enhance systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or equivalent roles.
- Strong command of Windows and macOS operating systems, alongside key SaaS services.
- Experience using MDM tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Intune.
- Knowledge of identity providers such as Okta and Azure Active Directory.
- Basic networking, DNS, and security principles understanding.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
