Role Overview
We seek a driven and proficient iOS Engineer to join our mobile development team. The role involves creating high-quality, user-centric iOS applications that are responsive and visually elegant. Candidates should be passionate about code quality and possess a deep knowledge of the Apple ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and user-friendly iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to produce superior mobile user experiences.
- Maintain clean, well-organized, and testable code aligned with established best practices.
- Enhance app performance to guarantee fluid interactions for users.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and external libraries seamlessly.
- Engage in code reviews offering constructive input to colleagues.
- Keep abreast of the latest iOS trends, tools, and methodologies.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in iOS application development.
- Strong command of Swift along with proficiency in Objective-C.
- Deep familiarity with Apple frameworks such as UIKit, CoreData, and AutoLayout.
- Experienced in handling RESTful APIs, JSON, and incorporation of third-party software development kits.
- Comfortable with Git or equivalent version control systems.
- Sound understanding of architectural design patterns including MVVM and MVC.
- Having at least one published app on the Apple App Store is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
