General Manager

Overview

This role is at a restaurant run by an independent franchisee, distinct legally and operationally from McDonald’s USA. Employment decisions, staffing, supervision, and all HR matters are managed solely by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.

Role Responsibilities

The General Manager is tasked with ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while maintaining high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness as defined by McDonald’s. Working closely with leadership, the manager sets and pursues establishment goals. They direct a team of Department Managers by assisting with goal setting, monitoring progress, and providing development and coaching to optimize departmental performance. Additionally, the role may include hiring and mentoring Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants will have prior experience managing high-volume quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail settings. It is mandatory for candidates to be at least 18 years old.
