Job description
About the Role
NinjaOne is seeking a talented and motivated Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our expanding Enterprise division in the APAC region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about securing large, complex clients by managing the technical relationship from initial demos and proof-of-value through onboarding and ongoing support.
Working closely with Enterprise Account Executives, you will shape sales strategies, conduct critical proof-of-concepts, and serve as a trusted advisor for prospects and partners. Your expertise in Managed Service Providers (MSP) will also support our expansion in Southeast Asia.
This hybrid position involves working remotely, at the Ninja One office in North Sydney, and onsite at client locations. It offers an opportunity to define excellence in enterprise pre-sales across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete pre-sales technical process for major enterprise accounts, including discovery, solution architecture, demonstrations, proof-of-concept, and implementation support.
- Deliver technical onboarding and translate complex IT environments into clear NinjaOne platform solutions.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations for diverse audiences ranging from IT administrators to C-level executives.
- Drive MSP-focused opportunities and business growth across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate between Enterprise Account Executives and internal Solutions teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with Enablement teams to create technical training, sales collateral, documentation, and reusable demonstration materials.
- Support technical evaluations for RFPs and RFIs, contributing to enterprise proposal content.
- Build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with enterprise partners, assisting Account Managers in monitoring customer health and uncovering new business opportunities.
- Advocate for customer support requirements, ensuring clients are kept well-informed throughout the process.
- Represent NinjaOne at partner events, trade shows, and industry conferences throughout the APAC region.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing valuable feedback to Product Management based on customer and partner insights.
- Share best practices, solutions, and workarounds with sales and partner teams and contribute to the knowledge base.
Technical Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Windows systems and enterprise IT infrastructures, plus familiarity with Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Strong foundation in networking and security concepts, including DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Practical experience with Endpoint Management (RMM), IT Service Management platforms, or similar tools, with exposure to MSP environments in Southeast Asia preferred.
- Experience scripting with technologies such as PowerShell and adeptness at navigating complex multi-layered IT ecosystems.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Jira, or comparable platforms is advantageous.
Candidate Profile
- Over 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or technical consulting within enterprise settings.
- Proven success in selling to large, complex enterprise customers using a value-based sales methodology.
- Experience or background in IT, data, observability, complex infrastructures, or cybersecurity sectors is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical professionals and executive-level audiences.
- A customer-centric approach with strong skills in building and maintaining lasting relationships across virtual and face-to-face interactions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities based on customer impact while following established processes.
- Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously within international, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with proactive clarification of requirements and expectations.
- An adaptable lifelong learner committed to embracing new technologies and organizational change.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills in working across global teams.
- Preferred: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, partnership events, and industry conferences across the APAC region.
