Job Summary
The Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in expanding business by uncovering opportunities with targeted clients. This role entails identifying prospective customers, generating new sales leads, and providing support to both clients and internal teams. Through proactive outreach and relationship nurturing, the SDR facilitates qualified meetings for the sales team, paving the way for successful conversions. This remote position requires strong English communication skills and does not offer visa support.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales by understanding client demands and supporting the sales team to position Toptal’s offerings effectively to clients, highlighting innovation and experience.
- Initiate relationships by prospecting through lead generation and cold calls, educating potential clients about Toptal, qualifying leads, and creating viable sales opportunities.
- Develop deep client and industry understanding to build rapport and tailor outreach, keeping abreast of market trends and client needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to pursue leads, suggest follow-ups, and coordinate qualified meetings, utilizing tools such as Zoom and Slack.
- Commit to continuous growth by embracing feedback, refining demand generation tactics, and contributing to team improvement efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience working as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative.
- A broad understanding of the complex challenges faced by Enterprise clients.
- Strong critical thinking abilities to identify new opportunities from prospective clients.
- Exceptional perseverance and determination to achieve goals despite setbacks.
- A genuine passion for sales and resilience toward rejection.
- Curiosity to explore clients’ organizations, problems, and industries thoroughly.
- Conscientiousness in handling sophisticated and sometimes technical client discussions.
