Role Overview

Join Rest as an Email Strategist and take charge of advancing a successful email marketing engine for the US market. This role focuses on scaling and expanding a proven program rather than fixing issues, aiming to amplify revenue through sophisticated strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the retention framework by defining and executing the email and lifecycle marketing roadmap specifically for Rest US, aligning with ambitious revenue goals.
• Amplify email-driven revenue from an already strong foundation, enhancing its contribution to total sales.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the email marketing team, overseeing their execution and growth.
• Ensure the accuracy of attribution and revenue measurement, incorporating data integrity through deduplication, proper attribution windows, and incrementality analysis.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and modern marketing tools to optimize workflows and generate measurable improvements, avoiding superficial implementations.
• Refine lifecycle stages by segmenting audiences more effectively across welcome sequences, cart abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back campaigns in collaboration with the Creative Team Lead to produce on-brand, high-conversion content.

Essential Qualifications

• Over 7 years of expertise in email, CRM, and lifecycle marketing within direct-to-consumer or e-commerce settings, including leadership experience with quantifiable revenue achievements.
• Proven management of a portfolio exceeding $20 million in revenue from email and lifecycle marketing efforts.
• Experience in hiring, coaching, and leading teams.
• Track record of owning revenue targets, including setting goals, facing setbacks, and implementing measures for recovery.
• Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo to confidently assess and guide team outputs without heavy hands-on involvement.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on attribution methodologies, cohort and retention analyses, and incrementality testing.
• Self-motivated with the ability to steer direction and maintain momentum in a fully remote and asynchronous work environment.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Practical application of AI within lifecycle marketing programs yielding tangible results.
• Expertise in impactful email copywriting and a deep understanding of US consumer culture.
• Experience with SMS or push notification lifecycle strategies.
• Background in DTC categories such as sleep, home, wellness, or other considered purchases.
