About the Role
Become a vital part of AXA Partners' data transformation journey as a Data Engineer. You will contribute significantly to shaping the company's data strategy and fostering innovation in global operations. Operating in a dynamic setting, you will utilize advanced Azure technologies to enable actionable insights that support core business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build efficient data pipelines by leveraging Azure platforms such as Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Delta Lake for seamless data ingestion and transformation.
- Oversee and refine data storage solutions to guarantee high-quality, accessible data repositories.
- Design data models and datasets to back analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools, notably Power BI.
- Implement automation and scripting techniques to optimize data-related workflows and boost operational efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance essential analytical systems, ensuring their smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee coherent data integration and top-tier service delivery.
- Uphold stringent data security, privacy standards, and compliance with relevant policies.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial expertise in data engineering, especially with Azure services and ETL methodologies.
- Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks.
- Proficiency in data storage design principles and data modeling best practices within Azure environments.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working autonomously to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills facilitating effective teamwork.
- Educationally, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 24 months of professional experience in a production Big Data environment, focused on data engineering or analytics projects.
