About the Role

Senior Helpers Okanagan is looking for a Client Services Coordinator to join their team and assist caregivers, manage consistent schedules, and streamline daily operations. This position is perfect for registered Health Care Aides (HCA) or seasoned caregivers who excel in dynamic logistical environments and seek career advancement into leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and update caregiver schedules daily and weekly, promptly addressing cancellations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding timing, scheduling, and logistical updates.
  • Provide caregivers with solutions for logistical challenges.
  • Perform light to moderate caregiving duties for 8-12 hours per week to ensure consistent client care.
  • Keep precise records using WellSky software.
  • Assist in onboarding new staff and support operational tasks.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts, including presentations to seniors and community organizations as assigned.

Requirements

  • Registration with the BC Care Aide Registry is mandatory.
  • Completion of a Health Care Aide (HCA) program.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in senior care.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with strong organizational abilities and commitment to follow-through.
  • Maintain calm professionalism even under pressure.
  • Reliable personal transportation and availability for occasional evening and weekend shifts.

Work Hours and Structure

  • Work in rotation with another coordinator.
  • Approximately 23-27 hours per week in-office, supplemented with caregiving shifts to reach over 30 hours weekly.
  • Alternate weekends on-call responsibility.

Additional Information
