Job Purpose

This role is responsible for delivering operational and commercial supervision across wellness services before and after property openings. The focus is on profitability, exceptional service, quality adherence, health and safety compliance, and ongoing refinement of wellness operations at both hotel and destination levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive operational audits and readiness assessments for wellness and spa functions ensuring service excellence and guest experience standards.
• Oversee Luxury Quality Assurance (LQA) hotel reviews specifically for wellness departments to uphold service quality with efficient follow-ups.
• Coordinate all wellness aspects for new property openings, ensuring smooth integration of wellness protocols and operational standards.
• Continuously monitor wellness operational and financial performance; provide insightful reports and recommendations to Asset Management, Spa Directors, and General Managers.
• Collaborate closely with hotel operators to enhance profitability, commercial strategies, operational efficiencies, and achievement of key owner performance indicators.
• Audit online resources including VRS, RSG, and operator websites for accuracy of spa offerings and guest information; partner with Wellness Communications to update and correct data.
• Support destination operations by aiding in service excellence and operational consistency initiatives within the wellness segment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols across all wellness operations and guest engagements.
• Enhance operational outcomes through ongoing refinement of policies, procedures, and standards; establish standardized Operating Service Excellence (OSE) processes across wellness functions.
• Champion internal communications to boost awareness, knowledge sharing, and cross-department cooperation.
• Develop and execute quarterly training programs incorporated with practical tools to maintain wellness readiness and standards.
• Offer procurement assistance related to wellness needs during pre-opening and operational phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality management, wellness, spa management, business administration, or related fields; diploma or professional accreditation in Spa Therapy, Wellness Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Physiotherapy, or similar required.
• At least 5 years experience in luxury hospitality or wellness/spa operations.
• Experience in the Middle East and handling large-scale wellness operations is desirable.
• Hands-on background as a therapist in luxury hotel or wellness environments.
