About the Role
Join our team at Circle K as an Assistant Store Manager at our Alma, Georgia location. You'll support store operations and lead staff in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily Stationstore operations.
- Participate in hiring, supervising, and guiding store staff to complete their duties effectively.
- Handle bookkeeping and merchandise management.
- Uphold high service standards and ensure fast, friendly customer interactions.
- Maintain consistent onsite presence and punctual attendance.
- Implement the company’s elevated food program, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Lead by example to foster a motivated and patient team environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Retail experience preferred, ideally with supervisory or managerial background.
- Skills in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and follow up for completion.
- Competence in teaching, motivating team members, and organizing operational tasks.
- Experience in cash handling and bookkeeping activities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer advocacy skills.
- Awareness of safety and security best practices.
- High school diploma or college degree considered advantageous.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Capacity to lift or carry up to 30 pounds overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 60 pounds from the ground to waist level.
- Push/pull forces exerted up to 20 pounds with the arms.
- Bending and twisting at the waist for up to one hour per shift.
- Manual dexterity for grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects, which may include ladder use to store or retrieve items.
