About the Internship

This internship offers hands-on experience in managing day-to-day financial operations at Instant Mechanics, a company specialized in providing rapid roadside assistance services. Interns will handle various accounting duties including recording transactions, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and assistance in GST and TDS accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Verify and record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments accurately.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Create and manage invoices along with related documentation.
• Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables systematically.
• Maintain detailed expense records supported by bills.
• Assist with GST and TDS documentation and related tasks.
• Ensure organized filing of financial documents for efficient retrieval.
• Prepare timely MIS and finance reports as required.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Detect and resolve inconsistencies in accounting records collaboratively.
• Provide support in month-end closing activities with the finance team.
• Undertake additional finance and accounting related tasks as assigned.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Availability for full-time, in-office internship starting between September 10 and October 15, 2026.
• Commitment to a 6-month internship duration.
• Relevant skills and a genuine interest in accounting and finance.
• Currently pursuing or completed qualifications like B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or equivalent degrees.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Confidence working with numerical data and financial computations.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data handling.
• Willingness to take full ownership and meet deadlines during the internship tenure.
• A proactive and responsible approach towards assigned tasks.

Stipend and Benefits

Monthly stipend ranging from INR 12,000 to 15,000. Interns will also receive a certificate, a letter of recommendation upon successful completion, and complimentary snacks and beverages during working hours.
