About the Internship

This internship opportunity involves supporting business development through sales activities at Renan Partners, an AI consultancy specializing in data annotation and fine-tuning large language models across more than 50 languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile lists of potential companies, decision-makers, and prospects within targeted sectors utilizing LinkedIn, online research, databases, and sales tools.
• Conduct thorough research on target accounts and decision-makers to grasp their business needs, current solutions, and explore how Renan's SaaS offerings can meet their requirements.
• Assist in executing tailored outreach campaigns using email, LinkedIn, and other channels to initiate conversations and generate qualified sales leads.
• Assess and qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company profile, business need, and decision-maker relevance to prioritize sales efforts.
• Keep the CRM updated with accurate prospect and lead data and manage follow-ups to ensure prospects advance through the sales pipeline efficiently.
• Monitor vital sales metrics such as lead generation, response rates, meetings secured, conversions, and pipeline creation to optimize outreach tactics continually.
• Perform market, industry, and competitor analysis to discover new target segments and growth avenues.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop prospect lists, messaging, account research, sales collateral, and other resources necessary for effective outbound sales campaigns.

Candidate Eligibility

• Applicants must be available to work remotely and start between 5th September 2026 and 10th October 2026.
• Availability to commit to the internship duration of six months is required.
• Candidates should possess relevant skills and enthusiasm for sales and business development roles.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Effective communication skills in English with strong research capability and ability to establish rapport with business clients.
• Comfort and familiarity with data handling, growth strategies, and startup operations—or a quick aptitude to learn these concepts.
• Experience or familiarity with outbound prospecting techniques including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Basic knowledge of sales metrics, analytics, and KPI tracking to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Ability to craft and present engaging business presentations and proposals.
• Attributes such as sharpness, curiosity, and a focus on execution are essential for success in this role.

Additional Information

• The internship stipend is INR 5,000 per month.
• Internship duration is six months with immediate joining preferred.
• Upon successful conversion to a permanent role, the expected salary range is INR 300,000 to 400,000 per annum.
