Job Overview

As a Storekeeper at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing merchandise efficiently across departments. The role involves inspecting deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and adhering to food safety protocols in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise accurately by department and label items for appropriate placement.
• Transport merchandise using pallets or carts and deliver to assigned departments.
• Complete inventory requisition forms and notify supervisors about low stock levels promptly.
• Receive deliveries and ensure perishables are stored appropriately while maintaining proper stock rotation.
• Inspect shipments to confirm freshness, quality, cleanliness, and consistency and reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Follow food safety and handling standards across all food-related operations.
• Organize, sanitize, and clean refrigerators, freezers, equipment, floors, and drains.
• Remove waste materials such as pallets, cardboard, and trash, and store them in designated areas.
• Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and injuries to management and comply with safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies including maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, foster teamwork, and support collective objectives.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and verify information in various formats accurately.
• Perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, maneuvering through confined and uneven spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods as required by shift duties.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• No prior related work experience needed.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
