Shift Leader

Job Overview

Zaxbys invites capable individuals to join their expanding team as a Shift Leader, a full-time, onsite role based in LaGrange, GA. This position is central to managing daily shift operations, including overseeing product quality, team performance, and process adherence within the restaurant environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift activities by delegating tasks and setting clear goals that align with operational benchmarks.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training to team members to uphold Zaxbys' procedural and performance standards.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive customer service atmosphere.
• Ensure completion of opening and closing duties, managing inventory, and overseeing supply receipt and stocking procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, franchise guidelines, and relevant legal regulations.
• Monitor food preparation and safety standards continuously to guarantee product quality and accurate order fulfillment.
• Keep detailed records using management tools and actively participate in the development of team goals in coordination with senior managers.
• Promote a safe, flexible, and cooperative work environment, adhering to safety protocols and escalating issues as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
• Available for a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, working 32 to 40 hours per week for full-time status.
• Capable of passing a background check successfully.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to organize, motivate, and collaborate with others effectively.
• Proficient in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and multitasking.
• Technologically competent with familiarity in company software and tools.
• Possess a servant leadership mindset; previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Physical capabilities include prolonged standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating kitchen and safety equipment safely.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00.
