Search and Recommendation Algorithm Expert

Overview

We are collaborating with a top-tier global information and communication technology company seeking driven and skilled professionals to enhance their search and recommendation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the development and research of search functionalities within the company’s app store, covering applications and a variety of other services.
• Take charge of the entire lifecycle for building and integrating recall and ranking algorithms.
• Design and execute A/B test scenarios, experiments, and evaluation techniques to assess and compare the effectiveness of different search and recommendation models.
• Investigate and apply pioneering approaches leveraging advanced AI technologies such as information retrieval, ranking systems, large language models (LLM), and related search and recommendation fields.

Qualifications and Requirements

• PhD degree highly preferred, specializing in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
• Preferably a minimum of three years’ experience managing teams within search engine projects.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, large language models, and big data analytics.
• Practical expertise coding in Python, Java, and Scala, along with strong familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with research or development projects in domains like search engines, advertising, or AI-generated content is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively pinpoint root causes from complex and extensive business data sets and propose robust solutions.
• Excellent communication abilities, high responsibility, and teamwork skills.
