Role Purpose

This position exists to expand Foundation's capabilities in Reddit marketing by delivering consistent, authentic, and community-sensitive content across various subreddits. Success on Reddit hinges on an in-depth understanding and respect for each community’s unique rules, posting guidelines, and cultural nuances, which this role embodies.

Responsibilities

• Create Reddit posts and comments that integrate naturally into targeted subreddits.
• Engage actively in ongoing subreddit discussions by contributing valuable insights.
• Understand and respect each subreddit’s culture, expectations, rules, and community sentiment about client brands.
• Identify prevalent discussion patterns, questions, or themes where adding helpful content is beneficial.
• Spot opportunities to insert existing knowledge or material to positively guide Reddit conversations.
• Work collaboratively with internal editors and content leadership to ensure clarity, accuracy, and approval of content.
• Support other content formats and initiatives occasionally as needed.

Indicators of Success

• Consistently achieving designated content volume goals with high acceptance rates and minimal editorial revision.
• Creating posts and comments fully compliant with subreddit rules, avoiding removal or flagging issues.
• Demonstrating proactive incorporation of feedback, ensuring requested changes are correctly implemented without repeated corrections.
• Building trust among internal teams by producing work that requires minimal supervision.
• Clients observe continuous, predictable contributions to their Reddit visibility without compliance breaches or negative community reactions.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

• This is a fully remote role with a global target candidate base.
• Candidates must maintain working hours that overlap with the EST timezone to participate in meetings.
• Annual base salary ranges between 23,000 to 41,000 CAD, adjusted for regional labor cost differences.
• Estimated total compensation (OTE) ranges from 25,000 to 45,000 CAD, inclusive of company-wide profit sharing and unlimited commission from revenue generated through partnerships.
• Compensation is calculated based on experience, role seniority, and candidate location using a role × level × location matrix to fairly acknowledge impact.
