Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Java development including core components such as multithreading, collections, and memory management. A deep understanding and practical experience with design patterns and the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot, are essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services with high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architectures.
- Apply Java design patterns effectively to solve complex problems.
- Utilize multithreading and collections frameworks proficiently for efficient system performance.
- Participate in deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications specifically leveraging AliCloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Core Java covering multithreading, collections, and memory management.
- Well-versed in Java design patterns and best practices for software design.
- Proficient with the Spring Framework including Spring Boot.
- Practical experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for continuous integration and delivery deployments.
- Experience building cloud-native applications on AliCloud platform.
