Job description
Position Overview
The Freight/Receiving team member plays a vital role in ensuring the store remains fully stocked and operational daily. Responsibilities include managing the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, distributing merchandise from the receiving dock to designated areas within the store, and occasionally operating forklifts. These positions support essential inventory functions, such as maintaining accurate stock levels and correct pricing to enhance the shopping experience.
Customer interaction is often a key component of this role, requiring strong service skills to assist and engage shoppers effectively. Various roles exist within this area, including Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate, and Receiving Support.
