Customer Experience Technician Apprentice

Role Overview

This apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning path to develop mechanical and technical expertise in servicing household appliances. Based in Christchurch, you will receive extensive training while working alongside seasoned service technicians to build your skills and confidence towards becoming a qualified Appliance Service Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various household appliances.
• Participate in structured on-the-job training guided by experienced mentors.
• Assist with appliance repairs initially in the workshop, progressing to customer homes as skills improve.
• Enhance troubleshooting capabilities through real-world problem-solving.
• Accurately complete service documentation and maintain detailed job records.
• Expand product knowledge via training sessions, technical manuals, and online resources.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols contributing to a safe work environment.

Candidate Profile

• Strong interest in technology, mechanics, or practical problem-solving.
• Positive mindset and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.

• Possession of a full New Zealand driver's license or the willingness to obtain one soon.
