Job description
Overview
We are seeking a driven and self-motivated food and beverage professional to assist in organizing and leading a team dedicated to delivering top-quality food and beverage products with prompt, accurate, and personalized service. This role is based at Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Stewarding Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all food processing areas and equipment.
- Oversee the stewarding operations ensuring smooth workflow.
- Manage all stewarding department staff, facilities, operations, and expenditures.
- Ensure sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards of products and services are consistently met.
- Monitor the correct use of chemicals and washing materials.
- Collaborate with the Stewarding Manager to define and control minimum and maximum stock levels and authorize storeroom requisitions.
- Coordinate daily and next-day requirements with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager.
- Maintain comprehensive health inspection logs, attendance records, and documentation for casual employees.
- Implement measures to minimize loss of silverware and flatware.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a degree in hospitality and possess prior experience in a hotel stewarding department. Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English is necessary, alongside strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
