About the Internship
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to Sapaad's dynamic Android application, a leading solution in the food and beverage industry. Interns will engage in building and releasing new features, integrating AI-assisted development tools, and collaborating within a remote team environment. The role emphasizes converting product requirements into well-structured development prompts and maintaining quality through testing and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Interpret product requirements into clear written specifications and structured prompts prior to coding.
- Develop and deploy new features on the live Android app from conception to production release.
- Utilize AI-based development aids, including large language model assistants and autonomous command-line interfaces, to enhance coding, debugging, and documentation processes with informed judgment.
- Create unit and UI tests for features and critically evaluate own code before submission.
- Submit pull requests, engage in peer code reviews, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Provide clear and proactive communication regarding progress and obstacles within a remote team setup.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders across different time zones.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability for fully remote work with commitment of 40 hours per week over 6 months.
- Start date between August 7, 2026, and September 11, 2026.
- Possess relevant technical skills and genuine interest in mobile app development.
- Applicants pursuing or completed a Computer Science Engineering degree or related discipline, or self-taught candidates with demonstrable expertise.
- Proficiency in English for effective asynchronous communication.
- Preference given to candidates with personal projects, open-source contributions, or self-directed learning experience.

Compensation and Other Information
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging between INR 12,000 and INR 15,000. Performance may potentially lead to a job offer. The internship is fully remote.
