About the Role

A to Z Furniture seeks a skilled WordPress and Shopify Developer to craft, enhance, and sustain professional e-commerce websites. This role focuses on creating robust online stores with a seamless user interface and advanced functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and tailor websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms.
• Develop or adjust custom themes and templates to meet design requirements.
• Enhance website loading speed, ensure mobile compatibility, and boost the overall user experience.
• Set up product options, filtering features, checkout systems, and payment gateway integrations.
• Diagnose and fix technical problems, including bugs and conflicts among plugins.
• Apply SEO best practices to optimize website structures.
• Integrate external APIs, analytics tracking tools, and third-party software.
• Manage website security measures, perform backups, and execute regular updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years of relevant development experience.
• Proficiency with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify environments.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience working with Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
• Capability to code custom themes beyond using standard page builders.
• Understanding of technical SEO aspects and web performance optimization.
• Demonstrated background in e-commerce web development is essential.
• Previous exposure to furniture or home interior e-commerce sites is beneficial.
