Valet Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client service by efficiently addressing customer requests and issues, communicating proactively, and seeking creative solutions to challenges.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to parking and document any observations.
• Inform customers about valet parking rates clearly.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Promptly report accidents, safety concerns, unusual events, or violations of company policies to management.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and highways to ensure smooth transportation for customers.
• Attend all shifts wearing a clean uniform, arrive punctually, remain in uniform throughout the shift, and be fully prepared to work.
• Support management by performing additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a valid state driver’s license with a current address and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.
• Skill in operating vehicles with manual transmissions (stick shifts) is advantageous but not required.
• Flexibility to work during special shifts including evenings, nights, or weekends when necessary.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States with appropriate documentation provided upon hire.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and colleagues and to handle customer concerns professionally.
• Competency in reading, writing, basic arithmetic with U.S. currency, and understanding written and verbal instructions, including short emails and memos.
• Capability to adapt calmly and effectively to changing conditions, delays, or unforeseen circumstances during work.

Physical Requirements

The role involves regular standing, walking, and manual handling of cash and equipment, occasional sitting and climbing or balancing, and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
