Python Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

We are recruiting a Senior Python Engineer to support a pioneering company specializing in large language models. The engineer will contribute to enhancing these models by providing superior proprietary data for fine-tuning and performance benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust Python code aimed at training AI models efficiently.
• Perform benchmarking evaluations of model performance, interpreting results to drive ongoing improvements.
• Assess and rank AI-generated responses to user queries across various fields, ensuring they meet established standards.
• Lead supervised fine-tuning initiatives by creating and managing high-quality, task-specific datasets.
• Partner with researchers and annotators to conduct reinforcement learning using human feedback and improve reward models.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Python programming and relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) approaches and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
• Deep understanding of evaluation methods and benchmarking techniques for AI systems.
• Capability to design Python solutions for data generation and model optimization.
• Knowledge of methodologies for evaluating and ranking AI model responses.
