About the Role

Join Dr Scent as a skilled Perfumer at our Head Office based in Sharjah. This role demands a passionate individual with refined olfactory abilities and robust technical knowledge in fragrance creation. You will spearhead scent formulation, lead research and development initiatives, and manage laboratory operations to strengthen our expanding international footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and perfect unique fragrance formulations, taking projects from initial concept through to detailed specifications.
• Manage laboratory workflows, ensure quality control of raw ingredients, and maintain inventory across multiple sites.
• Investigate and apply cutting-edge scent technologies, such as Encapsulation and ActiMoods.
• Collaborate directly with principal suppliers and customers on custom fragrance assignments.
• Drive the launch of new products and provide technical training for sales personnel and global agents.

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Perfumery, or an equivalent discipline is required.
• Demonstrated professional experience as a Perfumer with expertise in laboratory operations.
• Exceptional sense of smell paired with innovative formulation skills.
• Excellent organizational and technical proficiency concerning aroma chemicals.
• Mandatory fluency in both Arabic and English, in spoken and written forms.
• Preparedness to undertake frequent domestic and overseas travel.
