About TimeFiler and Role Overview

Join TimeFiler, a leading provider of digital timesheeting, rostering, and leave management solutions servicing over 800 clients and 150,000 employees across Australasia. The company offers a stable, innovative, and collaborative environment with growth opportunities and focus on excellent customer service.
Based in Riccarton, Christchurch, this permanent position requires occasional travel to Australia and involves working closely with a specialist team delivering complex workforce management solutions for clients in Australia and New Zealand, especially those with compliance-heavy needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complete system implementation projects from initial scoping through launch and support phases.
  • Collaborate with clients to deeply understand their payroll operations, rostering, shift patterns, and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
  • Configure and test TimeFiler to align with client-specific requirements ensuring precision prior to deployment.
  • Translate complex and sometimes unclear client requirements into organized and actionable implementation plans.
  • Provide training and ongoing assistance to clients for effective system adoption.
  • Act as a steady, dependable contact during implementation, managing client expectations and project timelines.
  • Identify additional TimeFiler features or services suitable for clients without an aggressive sales approach.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing systems, preferably within workforce management, payroll, or HR software domains.
  • Experience with Australian payroll processes, including award compliance, EBA interpretation, and complex rostering is highly desirable.
  • Strong New Zealand payroll implementation expertise in sectors like construction, civil works, utilities, or shift-based environments will also be considered.
  • Prior work with workforce management or payroll software providers is an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in structured, methodical settings and solve challenging client problems.
  • Comfortable working across different time zones and undertaking short-term travel to Australia.

Additional Information

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Office-based role in Riccarton with occasional travel.
  • Supportive workplace with exposure to multiple industries and client interactions.
