Role Overview

The IT Engineer with SAP role is a full-time position based on site in Dammam. This role involves maintaining and supporting the SAP ecosystem and associated IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation across manufacturing, logistics, and administrative functions. Key responsibilities include continuous system performance monitoring, resolving technical issues, managing user accounts and permissions, and coordinating SAP application updates with pertinent internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SAP system functionality and troubleshoot technical problems to maintain consistent operation.
• Manage access control and user accounts within SAP and related IT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to interpret business process requirements and implement appropriate system enhancements.
• Deliver end-user support and conduct training sessions to promote efficient use of SAP modules.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through routine backups and system checks.
• Assist in cybersecurity efforts, compliance adherence, and maintain thorough documentation of IT processes and configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO or equivalent, with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong IT infrastructure expertise including administration of Windows servers, network maintenance, hardware troubleshooting, and fundamental database and backup management.
• Ability to analyze and translate business process requirements into technical solutions with clear documentation.
• Experience providing user support, training, and managing incidents focused on high-quality service and prompt resolution.
• Academic background ideally including a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented problem solver comfortable working on-site in a factory environment located in Dammam.
• Additional advantages include prior work on ERP implementations or upgrades, foundational knowledge of cybersecurity practices, and exposure to the plastics or construction materials industry.
