Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer relationships via phone and face-to-face interactions.
• Manage rental order processing, payments, and related documentation.
• Support the efficient operation of a busy trade counter.
• Provide equipment usage advice and demonstrations when necessary.
• Handle retail sales and product merchandising; maintain full stock levels.
• Coordinate with the transport team to ensure equipment availability and prompt deliveries.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Ensure delivery contracts are signed and properly returned.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery and collection arrangements.
• Perform general administrative duties linked to transport operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a comparable role is essential.
• Familiarity with tools and small plant machinery.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication abilities with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Proactive ownership of tasks and pride in work quality.
• Competent computer literacy.
• Capacity to function effectively under pressure in a fast-paced office environment.

Additional Information

• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm, plus one Saturday every 4 weeks from 7:45am to 12:00pm.
• Work location: 3 Alexander Road, Castlereagh, Belfast, Co. Down BT6 9HP.
• Salary: Commensurate with experience.
