Role Overview

• Implement and develop FX trading systems with hands-on technical involvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional FX technology teams to build solutions that enhance business results.
• Focus on system architecture design, engaging with system end-users and improving output quality.
• Ensure compliance with Citi's policies and maintain updated process documentation.
• Lead the definition and adoption of best practices and processes for consistent and transparent operations.
• Work closely with sales, trading, and product teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding of Foreign Exchange markets; prior FX experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of low-latency software development techniques.
• Track record of constructing new systems, modernizing legacy platforms, and enhancing existing applications.
• Technical expertise in software, hardware, and networks sufficient to define solutions and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across all organisational levels.
• Hands-on engineering capability, comfortable exploring codebases for providing in-depth feedback and analysis.
• Awareness of industry developments and aptitude to incorporate new technologies where appropriate.
