Job Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans manually or using dishwashers.
• Organize and store all cleaned kitchen equipment and cutlery in their designated locations.
• Keep kitchen workspaces, utensils, and equipment neat and orderly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly, manage trash removal, and maintain overall cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with unloading and putting away deliveries as needed.
• Adhere strictly to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Complete additional kitchen tasks assigned by supervisors or culinary staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

• While no formal education is mandatory, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a comparable role is advantageous.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high hygiene standards.
• Physical ability to stand for long durations and lift heavy items such as trays and racks.
• Basic understanding of sanitation standards and food safety practices.
• Effective communication skills and a cooperative team spirit.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $17.50 to $21.00 per hour.
