Job description
Job Overview
We seek an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time onsite position requires a professional with at least five years of strong expertise in DevOps, cloud platform engineering, and release operations, preferably with a background in enterprise or regulated sectors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Azure DevOps services including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards, Test Plans, and related components such as agents, service connections, policies, RBAC, and auditing.
- Develop and maintain robust YAML-based production pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Utilize Git workflows involving pull requests, branching strategies, semantic versioning, and artifact lifecycle management alongside dependency control.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep and scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI; utilize REST APIs and work with JSON/YAML formats.
- Configure and manage Azure foundational services including subscription and resource group management, Entra ID, networking, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Policy enforcement, and managed identities.
- Operate containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or OpenShift; experience with Helm charts and GitOps methodologies is advantageous.
- Implement DevSecOps practices covering code quality assurance, security vulnerability scans, secrets management, software supply-chain security, and SBOM creation.
- Provide observability and problem-solving capabilities across applications, pipelines, platform layers, and network infrastructures.
- Support hybrid cloud environments and integrate with enterprise identity management, security protocols, IT service management, and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of practical DevOps experience with significant exposure to Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Proven capability in administering Azure DevOps Server and Services.
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments and enterprise integrations.
