About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Collibra Developer for a client of Weekday AI to join their team in Bangalore, Kolkata, or Chennai. This is a full-time onsite position focused on ensuring enterprise data integrity through robust Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality practices, especially within the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage Collibra for comprehensive data governance and metadata management, including data lineage, cataloging, and stewardship.
- Implement and maintain data quality frameworks using profiling and cleansing techniques to handle duplicates, missing values, and anomalies.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and optimize ETL workflows ensuring efficient data warehousing and processing.
- Optimize performance by tuning complex queries and ETL processes on large datasets.
- Automate data quality checks and validation using Python or Shell scripting.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with strong expertise in Collibra Data Governance Center and Metadata Management.
- Proficient in SQL for advanced query writing and ETL process understanding.
- Solid background in data quality management practices and frameworks.
- Experience tuning query performance and ETL optimization.
- Skills in Python or Shell scripting for automation purposes.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of data quality dimensions: Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Timeliness, Uniqueness, and Validity.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical data quality validation rules.
- Understanding of data governance policies and compliance standards, including GDPR.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for root cause analysis and prevention of data quality issues.
- Experience in documentation, reporting, and dashboard creation to monitor data quality metrics.
- Familiarity with retail industry data flows, standards, and best practices.
Additional Information
Salary Range: INR 15,00,000 to INR 35,00,000 per annum.
Locations: Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai.
