Accountant

About the Role

Vishaal Medical Distributor is seeking an Accountant to manage comprehensive day-to-day financial and accounting tasks, supporting smooth financial operations within the medical distribution sector.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting entries using Tally Prime software.
• Generate and manage sales and purchase invoices along with billing procedures.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain party ledger accounts accurately.
• Handle GST-related entries, conduct reconciliations, and ensure compliance with basic GST regulations.
• Manage bank reconciliations, process receipts and payments, and administer petty cash transactions.
• Maintain inventory records, coordinating regularly with sales and store teams.
• Monitor pending payments and actively follow up with customers to secure receivables.
• Prepare basic Management Information System (MIS) and accounting reports to facilitate decision-making.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Com) or Master’s degree (M.Com) in Commerce or related fields.
• Have 1 to 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Tally Prime, GST procedures, and MS Excel.
• Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical distribution industry is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail are required.
