Node.js Development Internship (Work from Home)

About the internship

This remote internship places you in a collaborative, agile setup where you will work with product managers and internal team members to build backend services for real projects.

What you'll work on

• Create server-side logic using Node.js, Express.js, and related backend technologies.
• Support the maintenance and integration of core databases so data moves reliably and efficiently.
• Produce code that is clean, efficient, and easy to test.
• Track down technical issues and bugs, then help resolve them quickly.
• Build secure login, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Connect multiple systems, data sources, and APIs so they work together smoothly.
• Tune performance across different delivery environments, including desktop and mobile platforms.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, can begin between 7 Jul 2026 and 11 Aug 2026, can commit for 6 months, and have relevant skills and interest. This opportunity is also specifically open to Computer Science Engineering students.

Other requirements

• Strong command of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Practical experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven design.
• Familiarity with server-side templating tools such as EJS or Pug.
• Comfort with HTML5, CSS3, and basic frontend integration.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and database integration using MongoDB, MySQL, or similar systems.
• Experience with Git or GitHub for version control.
• Awareness of security and accessibility standards.
• Bonus exposure to CI/CD workflows, Docker, or cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku.
