About the internship
Internship Overview
This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of Reneo's Android and iOS mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. Interns will engage in integrating dynamic marketplace functionalities such as user profiles, seller storefronts, product listings, search capabilities, shopping carts, order management, and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine both Android and iOS applications designed with React Native and TypeScript.
- Integrate Agora-powered livestream and live shopping features encompassing host and viewer experiences, including controls for camera and microphone, live chat, user reactions, viewer metrics, notifications, and interactive components, alongside support for livestream replays and on-demand video playback.
- Collaborate with backend services using REST APIs and Supabase, guaranteeing robust performance and cross-platform compatibility, while troubleshooting device and connectivity challenges.
- Work closely with WebRTC/Agora, backend, and frontend teams to conduct testing, debugging, and ensure smooth production releases.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be available for remote work following Indian Standard Time from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Start dates should fall between August 9, 2026, and September 13, 2026.
- The internship duration is approximately 3 months.
- Ideal candidates are computer science engineering students, final-year students, recent graduates, or proficient developers in relevant fields.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Proficient skills in React Native, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Practical experience developing Android and iOS applications.
- Familiarity with Agora SDK, WebRTC, Supabase, or real-time/live streaming applications is a significant advantage.
- Portfolio demonstrable via GitHub repositories, personal websites, or published functional mobile apps.
- Knowledge of publishing applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store is favorable.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced development environment with immediate full-time availability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from $325 to $500 USD, inclusive of incentive pay between $75 to $150 monthly.
- Upon successful completion, interns receive certificates and letters of recommendation.
