Their expertise encompasses site investigations, foundation engineering, retaining structures, earthworks, slope stability analysis, seismic evaluations, and construction monitoring. They collaborate closely with developers, architects, civil engineers, contractors, and local authorities to produce technically robust and commercially viable project outcomes throughout Auckland.
Role Overview
Owing to ongoing expansion, they seek an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer who excels in leading geotechnical site investigations, providing innovative design solutions, and offering expert advisory services across diverse project types. This role involves managing projects from the initial ground investigations through detailed design and construction oversight, including geotechnical reporting, foundation design, retaining wall and earthworks evaluations, slope stability assessments, and field monitoring during construction. The engineer will liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams and play a mentoring role to develop junior engineers.
Required Experience and Skills
- A minimum of eight years of consultancy experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficient in site investigation procedures, foundation design, earthworks, retaining structures, and slope stability evaluations.
- Background experience in land development, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is highly favorable.
