About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in full stack development to join our Agile digital team. This role involves building scalable enterprise software systems and mentoring junior developers while proficiently coding across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop both front-end architectures (web interfaces) and robust back-end applications.
- Create and manage servers and databases to ensure system functionality.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration.
- Keep updated with advancements in web application technologies and programming languages.
- Interpret technical specifications and collaborate with the Team Lead regarding project scope.
- Write clean, efficient front-end and back-end code; perform thorough testing and debugging.
- Conceive software solutions by analyzing project requirements.
- Design client-server architecture and oversee database and application management.
- Maintain and review code repositories, conduct peer code reviews, and execute unit testing.
- Translate system requirements into effective software designs supporting scalable applications.
- Implement wireframes and user experience (UX) designs to meet finalized project technology needs.
- Ensure smooth deployment, provide technical support for live systems, and minimize turnaround time on production fixes.
- Document technical processes and maintain code quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc., B.C.A., or M.C.A. degrees; other graduates with relevant technical institute certifications like NIIT or Agile Scrum are also eligible.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in software development roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and open-source technologies for both web and Windows applications.
- Strong command over programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, Java, Python, Ruby, C++, PHP, and frameworks including ASP.NET, .NET Core, Xamarin Forms, Angular, React, Flutter, and iOS/Android development.
- Comprehensive understanding of 3-tier or n-tier architectures.
- Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Mastery of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React, Amber).
- Experience applying Test-Driven Development and unit testing methodologies and web services development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Additional Information
Location options include Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Chennai. The role demands moderate to light travel and is primarily an individual contributor position reporting to a Team Lead. Candidates will be responsible for achieving minimal turnaround time on production issue fixes and collaborative development in an agile environment.
